You need an IEEE802.11b Network Interface Card installed on your computing device, laptop or handheld.

When you approach a StockholmOpen.Net access point, make sure you are using the network name (essid) "open" and set your network settings to ask for an IP-address via dhcp.

Connect to the webserver. The first time you connect, you get a private IP-address and get connected to a page where you can select an upstreams ISP. When you reconnect, you are directly connected to the authentication page of the ISP you have chosen.

At the webpage, you choose a realm in which you are defined, input your username and password and push the Sign-In button

If you are correctly authenticated, you will now be connected to the Internet!
